The Dynamic Gallery widget in DynamicKit for Elementor is designed to display image galleries sourced dynamically from custom fields. It's especially powerful when working with ACF Gallery or ACF Repeater fields to showcase media content in flexible and visually engaging layouts.
General#
Source#
Choose the data source for the gallery images:
- ACF Gallery – Displays images from an ACF Gallery field.
- ACF Repeater – Extracts images from a repeater field where each row includes an image subfield.
Image Resolution#
Select the image size to load for performance and quality balance:
- Thumbnail, Medium, Large, Full, or any custom size registered in WordPress.
Order By#
Determine the order of image display:
- Default – Follows the order in the ACF field.
- Date – Sorts by upload date.
- Random – Shuffles the image order on each page load.
Link To#
Defines the action when a user clicks an image:
- None – No link is applied.
- Media File – Opens the full-size image in a lightbox or new tab.
- Custom URL – Uses a custom link (e.g., from a field attached to the media item).
- Attachment Page – Links to the WordPress attachment detail page.
Link Target#
Choose how the link opens:
- Same Window – Opens in the current tab.
- New Window – Opens in a new browser tab.
Link Icon#
Display an icon on hover or beside the image:
- Select from Elementor's Icon Library or upload a Custom SVG.
Layout#
Select how images are visually arranged:
- Grid – Uniform columns and rows.
- Masonry – Staggered layout with dynamic image heights.
- Justified – Rows with uniform height and variable width for a seamless photo wall.
Columns#
Set the number of columns for the grid layout (responsive controls may apply).

Caption#
Choose whether to display image captions.
Caption Type#
Define which media field to use as the caption text:
- Title – Media title.
- Caption – WordPress caption field.
- Description – Full media description.
Caption Position#
Choose where the caption appears:
- Over Image – Caption overlays the image.
- Below Image – Caption displays beneath the image.
